About the Representatives

Kyaw Naing

Dr. Kyaw Naing is President of The Institution of Professional Engineers Myanmar. He is originally from Myanmar and settled in Sydney, Australia where he teaches engineering. He has organized overseas Myanmar Engineers and Engineers in Myanmar to form the Institution of Professional Engineers Myanmar (IPEM) to develop engineering education in Myanmar.

Dr. Kyaw Naing holds several academic and professional qualifications including a Bachelors of Engineering (Electrical Power) from the Rangoon Institute of Technology, Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering, Graduate Diploma in Adult and Vocational Education (Australia), Masters of Science (Science Education) from Curtin University in Australia, a Doctor of Education (STCTU) and Doctor of Letters (SCU). He is also a member of Engineers Australia , Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland and Fellow of Singapore Institute of Engineering Technologists.

Dr. Kyaw Naing is taking part in the leading role of alternative engineering education and training system for the youth, adults and engineering tradesmen and technicians of Myanmar who cannot proceed their advanced education and engineering career by traditional ways.

Thwin Thu Lynn

Dr. Thwin Thu Lynn is Secretary of The Institution of Professional Engineers Myanmar (IPEM) and Deputy Principal of IQY Technical College, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

She received her Doctor of Philosophy from Yangon Technological University in 2017, Previously she completed AGTI (Associate of Government Technical Institute) in 2006, Bachelor of Technology in 2007, Bachelor of Electrical Power Engineering and Master of Electrical Power Engineering from Maubin Technological University in 2008.

Dr Thwin Thu Lynn has written several research papers consisting of five papers and three journals publication in the international journal publication of IJSETR (International Journal of Science, Engineering and Technology Research) in VOL 5 (October 2016) and IJAR (International Journal of Advanced Research) in VOL4 (September 2016).

She presented her research paper in the conference of 35th Conference of ASEAN on November 2017 . She also participated in the Fifth International Conference on Science and Engineering ICSE 2014, the GSSRR (Global Society of Scientific Research and Researchers) , NCSE (National Conference on Science and Technology) 2015, the Sixth International Conference on Science and Engineering 2015 and the Seventh International Conference on Science and Engineering 2016.

She is also actively taking part in alternative education for Myanmar as a leader of joint program to provide the volunteer training program in her native town Maubin. She possesses strong ambition in development of engineering education in Myanmar and with her ambition, she is actively taking parts in the activities of IPEM and IFEES. Daw Hnin Yu Lwin

Daw Hnin Yu Lwin  completed AGTI in 2002 from Government Technological College, Pyay with Civil Engineering Specialization.

Then she completed Bachelor of Technology in 2004 and Bachelor of Engineering in 2005 from Yangon Technological University.

After that she got Master of Engineering at 2007 from Pyay Technological University.

She is  also chairman of W&H Engineering and Education Service Group and Trainer of AutoCAD, Sketchup and Quantity Surveying .

Daw Hnin Yu Lwin is teaching the engineering at IQY Technical College which is educational arm of The Institution of Professional Engineers.Myanmar (IPEM).
