Crafting Effective Problems for PBL

To develop complex problem-solving skills, the problem or challenge given to learners is the central feature of the learning experience. In Problem-based Learning (PBL), a well-crafted problem shapes the learning environment that spark curiosity, foster ownership of learning, and develop professional competencies, such as complex problem-solving. This leads to meaningful attainment of course learning outcomes. Join this interactive, research-informed webinar to discover:

1) characteristics of effective problems,

2) practical steps for crafting problems that connect theory to application

3) discuss strategies to engage learners and strengthen problem-solving skills.

This session offers practical insights to help participants design problems that make learning purposeful and relevant to real-world applications.
