The Lueny Morell Award for Educational Innovation in Higher Education at STEAM recognizes a relevant initiative of teaching innovation in the field of science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM), characterized by its significant contribution and impact on Higher Education.

2025 Lueny Morell Award Recipient

The independent Jury established to define the Lueny Morell award for educational innovation in Higher Education in STEAM has decided to grant the aforementioned award to the nomination presented by Carlos Marcelo García Rodríguez from the Universidad Nacional de Córdoba, Argentina.

Having received 13 applications from 5 countries, and after a long and meticulous process, the Jury has resolved in favor of the project “Proyecto Educativo y de Ciencia Ciudadana
MATTEO: Innovación STEAM para Todos los Niveles Educativos”, considering the context of the initiative, its educational and social impact.

In this way, innovaHiEd Academy honors the memory of its founder, Lueny Morell, a woman who was characterized by her ability to connect people and entities in favor of educational improvement, with a truly global impact.
