The International Federation of Engineering Education Societies (IFEES) and the Global Engineering Deans Council (GEDC) are seeking strong candidates to fill the position of Secretary General, IFEES / Executive Director, GEDC.
The Secretary General/Executive Director will provide strategic, operational, and relationship leadership for IFEES and GEDC, working closely with the organizations’ governing bodies, volunteer leaders, members, institutional partners, and sponsors.
The successful candidate will help advance the missions of both organizations, strengthen global engagement, grow membership and partnerships, and support the effective execution of programs, events, communications, and administration.

- Communications and global visibility
The role calls for a globally minded, collaborative, and entrepreneurial leader with significant leadership experience and the ability to work effectively across cultures, sectors, regions, and institutional contexts.
The position is open to candidates based anywhere in the world and may be structured as fully remote, hybrid, or hosted through a partner institution. The position may be part-time or full-time depending on the successful candidate’s availability and work schedule. International travel will be required.
