This webinar explores how Gen Z and Millennial women researchers are reshaping the scientific landscape in Peru and across Latin America through digital tools, interdisciplinary collaboration, and global networks such as OWSD and regional women-in-STEM initiatives. We will examine their contributions to critical areas in STEM, such as mechatronics and civil engineering, as well as the structural barriers they face, limited access to funding, and unequal recognition.
By highlighting real experiences, data, and successful strategies from Peru and the wider region, the session aims to inspire institutions, policymakers, and young scientists to promote inclusive leadership, leverage the opportunities of the digital age, and accelerate the participation of women in high-impact research and decision-making spaces.
