
Vincent Olema – Has extensive experience in Telecommunication Sector. He has worked with numerous Telecommunication Companies namely; Uganda Telecom, Imagine Partners Uganda, Siemens Uganda. Currently serves as Head of Information & Communication Technology (ICT) Infrastructure, Research & Development for East African Entrepreneurship Association (EAEA). He is the founder of a non-profit named namunde LABS that promotes Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) in Ugandan schools; & the founder of Logik Technologies (U) ICT Company which provide ICT services. Vincent holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunication Engineering; and a Master’s Degree in Vocational Pedagogy. He is a member of many Professional Associations: Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Institute of Engineering Technology (IET), Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers (UIPE), Internet Society (ISO) – Uganda Chapter, Engineer without Borders (EWB) – Uganda Chapter, IEEE Small Village – Africa Working Group; Rotarian (Rotary E-Club of Silicon Valley Smart Village). Olema is the founding Chair & Immediate Past Chair– IEEE Uganda Section & IEEE Membership Development Officer for Uganda Section. His research interest is E-Learning; Lego Education; Mobile Learning; Vocational Education; Work-place Learning & Technology Enhanced Learning. He has published several articles and papers in the area Vocational Education & Training, E-learning etc. He is currently searching for a university to pursue his PhD in Engineering Pedagogy.
