Un procedimiento de valuación de competencias en ingeniería

The current speed that develops scientific and technological advances has to rethink the training of engineers in the world. In this context, competency-based training is a central theme in the current
academic debate. The literature on the subject, notes that competition is a complex construct, which underpins a shift in educational paradigms for teaching methods that locate the student as the center of the process. In the present work is used to explore the definition of indicators to appraise approximately, the contribution is made to the development of skills in an engineering career. To this end, reference is taken as the paradigm established the list of skills in the document prepared by the Federal Council of Engineering Deans. It stands as the proposed new and quantification of indicators, which is estimated, is a significant contribution on the subject.
