IFEES members met with Dr.
A.P.J. Adbul Kalam, President of India, on June 6, 2007,
to brief him on the recommendations from the Action Planning
Forum of the Indo
US Collaboration for Engineering Education (IUCEE),
of which IFEES was a co-sponsor. The Action Planning Forum,
which took place on the campus of Infosys
in Mysore, India, was the first meeting of IUCEE. A follow-up
meeting will take place in Washington, DC in August 2007.
