Training of Engineers includes the development of a set of activities and experiences that allow to form a competent professional in knowledge, skills and attitudes. To do this, teaching teams have to go through processes of critical reflection on innovation in practice and continuous improvement. In this paper we present the advances on the analysis of the impact of new learning experiences innovation and research of teaching in the early years of the engineering careers at the Faculty Regional Bahía Blanca, Universidad Tecnológica Nacional. This study is part of the activities of the Research and Development Project UTN FIIL 1156 “Initial Training in Engineering and LOI”. The positive results and the interest of teachers about the Didactic Action Research approach, demonstrate the strengths and potential of this framework to improve teaching and reflection on one’s professional communities learning activity.
