La Matemática en la Ingeniería

This paper aims to tackle the problem referred to the significant deficit that is manifested against the mathematical knowledge they bring prospective students aspiring to enter careers in engineering. During preparation of the student admission to college is trying with great effort and dedication: to strengthen, teach and correct basic concepts of mathematics, which will be the foundation for the apprehension of future knowledge to develop in the core subjects careers in engineering. The biggest problem that arises is the difficulty of achieving change this situation in such a short time. Therefore, through this work is trying to develop strategies and guidelines for the implementation of links between middle school and the university so that students get to meet a career in engineering are not so distinct from the level of knowledge required.
