La formación del ingeniero ante los desafíos del desarrollo tecnológico

In engineering education there is to enter the critical dimention, it mean students develop skills not only to knowledge, sealed with a view “inside” of science, but also to project them in social settings. Engineers should not be treated as specialists to implement certain technical prescriptions but as professionals to consider the problems that are generated from technological advances. For the proposed objectives will justify inclusion in this paper paths including multidisciplinary courses in the first two levels and the provision in the third level of curricular credits by social service tasks and courses of human and environmental sustainability of development. As a natural result of these changes, concentrated in the early stages of careers in engineering, is to postulate the relevance of offering the option of a common intermediate title.
