Innovación e investigación en la enseñanza en “Ingeniería y Sociedad”

“Engineering and Society” is a course of vocational training, cultural and social development in the early years of engineering careers. The subject provides students with knowledge about the profession as well as with the basic and fundamental skills of the profession, which will be dealt with in depth in subsequent years. This paper presents the results of two experiences related to improvement and innovation in the teaching of these subjects, in the framework of the Research and Development Project UTN PID FIIL 1156 “Initial Training in Engineering and LOI.” The paper presents findings on the impact of tutorial actions in theoretical and practical tasks, and collaborative learning experience through documentary sources that promote the development of comprehensive literacy skills. The success and interest of teachers on this the methodological approach reflects the relevance of training proposals.
