Engineering: Its commitment to technological and social development
This first edition of the Latin American Engineering Conference (CLADI 2017) is the first international initiative encouraged by the Federal Council of Engineering Deans from Argentina (CONFEDI in Spanish). Researchers and professionals from all over Latin America are invited to participate in this event. The meeting is aimed at addressing both the challenges that the engineering profession poses to professionals in the region, and the distinctive problem areas, projects and curricula of the faculties where they are trained. Thus, the Conference will provide unparalleled networking opportunities for engineers, for the establishment of inter-institutional agreements and for enhancing the role of engineers in their profession, in research and in the academic environment.
CLADI’s main theme, “Engineering: Its commitment to technological and social development”, encourages reflection, debate and the generation of appropriate and sustainable solutions for the requirements of each socio-cultural context.
