The educational quality in the academic level must be conceived as a permanent and internal construction of an educational community that assess itself in order to generate strategies and actions to its improvement. With the intention to escort the teaching-learning process, the Santa Fe Regional Faculty has implemented a procedure orientated to the students. This work has the objective to evaluate the results and its incidence in the defection indicators. In order to achieve this objective, will be evaluate the academic performance of students during 2011 in the careers of engineering, determining the different variables, defining performance indicators and analyzing its demeanor. This will permit to know the effectiveness of the implemented methodology. These actions will be implemented through a joint work where each member brings from their own experience in order to generate different contributions adapted to each level and specialty giving the opportunity to contribute in the retention and in the reduction of the chronicity.
