Cuentos de ciencia ficción en cursos de mecánica clásica en Carreras de Ingeniería

Lack of motivation is indicated as one of the most serious problems of the learning, especially in formal education. Although the principal source for motivation in the work of the classroom is centered on the teacher, there are different factors which influence in a direct or indirect way and help finally to achieve the suitable relation between a motivated pupil and a motivating teacher.
Numerous investigations have showed the importance of the motivation in the learning, without motivation there is no learning. Especially stories can be used by the teachers as an strategy to increase students interest for the scientific topics, beside provoking in them processes of reflection and conceptualization. In this work we show how a didactic offer has been elaborated which included the use of fiction science stories in the teaching of Thermodynamic basic concepts.
