From October 17 - 21, 2010, the World Engineering Education Forum in Singapore will unite five engineering education international conferences. Red Cartagena de Ingeniaría General Assembly

The Fourth Assembly of the Cartagena Network of Engineering will be held between Tuesday 21 and Friday, 24 September 2010, in Metz, France. The academic program will be 21 and 22 September. The issue for this year is Engineering of complex systems. It is proposed to submit articles and papers for publication as a book of the RCI.

The inauguration of the new building of ENIM will be on 23 September and the Assembly of Members of the CNE on 24 September.

Ibero-American Symposium on Project Approaches in Engineering Education

After a successful first edition in Guimarães last year, it is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the 2nd PAEE Symposium at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona, Spain. The Department of Production and Systems (DPS) and the Research Centre for Education (CIEd) of the University of Minho, Portugal are organising the symposium in cooperation with the Curriculum Development Working Group of the European Society for Engineering Education (SEFI) to join teachers, researchers on Engineering Education, deans of Engineering Schools and professionals concerned with Engineering Education, to enhance Project Approaches in Engineering Education through workshops and discussion of current practice and research. Transforming Engineering Education: Creating Interdisciplinary Skills for Complex Global Environments

IBM and IEEE invite you to participate in a conference on Transforming Engineering Education: Creating Interdisciplinary Skills for Complex Global Environments on 6-9 April, 2010, in Dublin, Ireland. Interactive program sessions are designed specifically for: workforce development and training executives at technology-driven organizations; deans, department heads and chairs of curriculum committees at university-based engineering programs; government officials with regulatory and/or funding responsibility for higher education; and officials of professional societies and accrediting organizations that serve engineering and related academic disciplines.

A key element of the program will be work groups assigned to develop action recommendations for employers, educators, funding organizations, accrediting agencies and other stakeholders. A series of plenary sessions will also feature prominent executives from key employers including IBM, Dassault Systems, Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft and SAP, and well as academic thought leaders for the University of Colorado, Drexel University, the University of Illinois and the Indian Institute of Science.
