IFEES Duncan Fraser Global Award

Nominations for the 2017 IFEES Duncan Fraser Global Award for Excellence in Engineering Education will open on April 3, 2017.

Through the collaboration of its member societies, IFEES works to establish effective engineering education processes of high quality around the world to assure a global supply of well-prepared engineering graduates. IFEES strengthens member organizations and their capacity to support faculty and students, and helps to connect engineering graduates with international corporations that have a pressing need for well-trained engineers who can work in a global environment. IFEES also aims to enhance the ability of engineering faculty, students and practitioners to understand the varied cultures of the world and work effectively in them.

The IFEES Duncan Fraser Global Award for Excellence in Engineering Education recognizes individuals who have made innovative and meritorious contributions having a significant impact on the advancement of engineering education. IFEES encourages nominations of outstanding candidates from all regions of the world.  The 2017 Duncan Fraser Global Award will be presented during the annual IFEES Award Dinner during WEEF 2017 Kuala Lumpur in November. The winner will receive a medal, a citation, a one-time monetary prize of USD $1,000, a roundtrip, economy class air ticket, and three nights lodging to receive the award.
