Análisis de la formación profesional en carreras de ingeniería para el desarrollo sostenible

A sustainable development education analyze in the engineering´ careers of National University of San Juan, Argentina, and the commitment that the institution has with it, is presented in this paper. It is considered the competences based in educational paradigm and national guidelines for the Engineer formation for Sustainable Development as related to the achievement of education sought. It describes the investigation characteristics, the engineering education current state and the actions of the institution in the sense discussed.
The results obtained agree to identify the major factors of education for SD, to evaluate the current education system and to generate suggestions for improvements to the training of engineers with social and environmental commitment.
